Berowra Apex Club

19 September 2018

Mr MATT KEAN (Hornsby—Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation) (19:39): Tonight I pay tributeto an organisation in Hornsby that hasstepped up to help our farmers in a big way. Berowra Apex has been responsible for organising a convoy of 14 cars and trailers to do a 16-hour round trip to deliver much-needed cash and supplies to farmers who are doing it really tough at the moment.

Quarry Update

The Hornsby area is buzzing with anticipation for the revamped quarry site. This park will provide a safe space for local residents to spend quality time with family and friends for many generations to come. To read details about the project, open the PDF below.

Safe Schools Program

22 September 2016

"Adolescence is a challenging time. Trying to find your place in the world and who you are is something that is never easy. For those adolescents who identify as LGBTI that challenge is far harder. All the research shows that LGBTI people are at a far greater risk of self-harm and suicide than their peers. However, the so called Safe Schools Program goes much further than that..."

Job Creation Motion

Mr GARETH WARD ( Kiama ) ( 15:40 ): I move:

That this House:

(1) Acknowledges the Government's support for small, fast-growing companies that will drive jobs growth in New South Wales and help meet the Government's target to create one million additional jobs by 2036.

(2)Calls on the Opposition to support Jobs for NSW and focus on employment opportunities for the people of New South Wales, and not employment opportunities for the Federal member for Blaxland.
