I took a trip to Dubbo to announce the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone with Deputy Premier John Barilaro and Member for Dubbo Dugald Saunders, setting up NSW to be a global energy superpower.
From midnight tonight, there will be further measures introduced to keep our Hornsby community safe and to restrict the spread of COVID-19.
If you choose to ignore these new rules there will be tough penalties.
The new restrictions include:

Mr MATT KEAN (Hornsby—Parliamentary Secretary) [1.18 p.m.]: I am delighted to confirm the sale of 34 hectacres of surplus Sydney Water land in Westleigh which will be turned into new sporting facilities for my community. The land, known as the Water Board site, was a former night soil dump that was closed in 1964.
The site has been largely unused since the closure of the nightsoil dump; however, in recent times there have been a number of proposals regarding potential usage of the land.
After being elected as Member for Hornsby in March 2011, I have embarked on many initiatives that the community and I see as pivotal issues for Hornsby. I see and understand the needs of the community and am proud to play my part.
