Hornsby is a semi-rural/metropolitan electorate located in Sydney's outer northern suburbs. Surrounded by beautiful bushland and Galston Gorge to the west, the stunning Ku-Ring-Gai National Park to the East, the Hawkesbury River to the North and Sydney's northern-most suburban Hub to the south, Hornsby is home to over 70,000 people from various cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds.

Hornsby has a thriving local community, with local schools, charities and sporting organisations all working to support the needs of the community. Hornsby is also home to a wide variety of native plants and animals, as well as some of the most pristine areas of protected bushland in Sydney. Hornsby is also a fast-developing urban centre, with areas of development and growth.
