Hornsby Hospital has received an injection of new talent with 16 junior doctors joining the ranks.
Member for Hornsby Matt Kean MP welcomed the doctors to the shire at the start of their medical career, saying their drive and commitment would improve the lives of thousands of people.
“It’s an honour to have these dedicated professionals at Hornsby Hospital to start their long careers,” Mr Kean said.
JUNIOR doctors have bolstered Hornsby Hospital’s halls as part of an internship program with Northern Sydney Local Health District and Sydney University.
Sixteen interns were welcomed by Hornsby state Liberal MP Matt Kean last week when they started their careers with internships at the Sydney Adventist Hospital at Wahroonga and Hornsby Hospital.
After being elected as Member for Hornsby in March 2011, I have embarked on many initiatives that the community and I see as pivotal issues for Hornsby. I see and understand the needs of the community and am proud to play my part.
