I was proud to lend a helping hand to Hornsby Rotary as they sold flowers for Daffodil Day 2019 at Hornsby station. These guys are there from 5.30am raising money for this important cause - Dennis and your team at Hornsby Rotary thank you for all that you do.
Every year the Rotary Club of Hornsby get up bright and early to sell beautiful daffodils to the commuters at Hornsby Station for Daffodil Day.
Celebrating 32 years Daffodil Day will hopefully raise $4million forthe Cancer Council.
Hornsby Rotary volunteers Gail Farr, Paul and Monique Rashbrook are just a few of those who assisted in selling the merchandise all day at the station.
They were joined by the Member for Hornsby Matt Kean MP who said, 'I would like to thank the Rotary Club of Hornsby for ensuring this fundraiseris run every year."
After being elected as Member for Hornsby in March 2011, I have embarked on many initiatives that the community and I see as pivotal issues for Hornsby. I see and understand the needs of the community and am proud to play my part.
