Saying Thank You To Paramedics

State Member for Hornsby, Matt Kean MP, today acknowledged Thank a Paramedic Day by recognising the state's 3500-plus paramedics and the fantastic contribution they make to the local community.

'The local community is so grateful for the extraordinary work and commitment of paramedics', Mr Kean said.

'Paramedics dedicate their lives to helping others and ensure that those who require medical assistance are attended to in an efficient and effective manner'.

As part of Thank a Paramedic Day, paramedics will be honoured for bravery, long

service, good conduct and exceptional performance at ceremonies across the state.
