Brooklyn P&C Association was awarded $10,000 grant as part of the Community Building Partnership (CBP) Scheme which will see a shade structure built over the play area.
Matt Kean MP visited the school to let the kids know the good news and said,
"It's great to be able to provide the School with the funds to build a shade to protect students."
Local school P&C Associations are encouraged to apply for 2018 Community Building Partnership grants when they open on the 7th of May.
