Good Luck Hayley!

Matt Kean MP with Wideview Public School Captain and swimmer Hayley Johnston

Hayley Johnston who is in Year 6 at Wideview Public School is pretty amazing for a 11 year old! Take note of the name Hayley Johnston, she may only be 11 years old but she is making some big waves in the swimming world. The Wideview Public School Captain dreams of making an Olympic podium, just like her idol Emma McKeon.

In December Hayley will travel to Adelaide to represent NSW in the Pacific School Games. But before she even jumps in the pool she has made a splash, qualifying in more races than anyone else in her age group from NSW.

Member for Hornsby Matt Kean MP recently acknowledge her achievements in NSW State Parliament.

“What Hayley has accomplished at such a young age is phenomenal and I have no doubt she has a very bright future,” said Matt Kean.

Last year Hayley competed at the School Sport Australia Nationals held in Darwin where she won 7 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze.

Good luck Hayley the community of Hornsby is behind you!
