Berowra RFS Service Headquarters nears completion!

Berowra Rural Fire Brigade and Member for Hornsby Matt Kean MP

The Berowra Rural Fire Brigade is one step closer to moving into their new premises at Berowra Oval with the new building almost complete.

"The new shed is a vast improvement on their current location and will be able to provide the volunteers with the best possible equipment and facilities," said Matt Kean MP.

"Our volunteers do so much for our community so I was pleased to support them in a small way with a $18,000 Community Building Partnership grant which will be used to improve the facilities in the new building," said Mr Kean.

The new building provides more space for work and parking for vehicles.

The new building has been relocated to Berowra Oval to provide a suitable space for the latest generation of firefighting appliances along with increasing the brigades the capacity to house an additional vehicle. The new location also gives fire fighters better access to the local region.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Rural Fire Service volunteers for all they do for the community," said Mr Kean.
