Berowra Public School to Receive Additional Cricket Nets

State Member for Hornsby, Matt Kean MP, today presented the Berowra Cricket Club with a cheque for $40,000, as part of the NSW Government's Community Building Partnership program.

The funding will go towards the construction of cricket nets at Berowra Public School, and will benefit both the students and Berowra Cricket Club's approximately 450 members.

Speaking at Berowra Pub, Mr Kean reiterated the importance of the Berowra Cricket Club to the local community.

'The Berowra Cricket Club is a great asset to the community and is deserving of this funding', Mr Kean said.

'The local community's cricketers will use these cricket nets to develop their skills and have fun along the way'

'The $40,000 that the club is receiving is testament to the hard work and efforts of both the club administration and players'.
