A Year of Work

{jcomments on}After almost a year as your local representative in the New South Parliament I am delighted to report that there are many new exciting developments happening in Hornsby.

The NSW Government has delivered on its commitment to redevelop Hornsby Hospital, has fast-tracked sewage services to Cowan and Galston and has taken positive steps to ensure the quality of water life in the Hawkesbury River.

At a State-wide level the Government has finalised plans for the North-West Rail link, have changed planning laws to give more power back to local communities, strengthened police powers, invested over $3 billion in health services that includes an extra 1,390 beds and 2,475 extra nurses, and we have repealed the home buyers tax, making it easier for Hornsby residents to purchase their own home.

For me, being in parliament is about delivering results. I am committed to working hard for our local community, to improving our quality of life and the services we have access to.

As your state member of parliament, I always welcome your comments or the opportunity to help you with your dealings with the State Government. Never hesitate to call my office or drop me a line.

Regards,

Matt Kean MP
