Cool change for Asquith Boys High School

Hot summer days for studnets of Asquith Boys High School will be easier to bear thanks to the installation of a 'Big Ass' Fan in the school hall.

"The ABHS P&C was awarded $16,060 under the Community Building Partnership CBP program which gives funding to local community groups to help them pay for improvements or deliver vital infastructure," said Member for Hornsby Matt Kean who was present to convey the good news about the grant allocation.

There are a few schools locally with these very large fans installed in their school halls and it makes a big different on hot summer days.

"It can get pretty hot in summer and I am pleased to be able to help provide a cooler environment for students and staff," Mr Kean said.
