Daffodil Day

The Rotary Club of Hornsby rolled up their sleeves on Friday to sell Cancer Council merchandise and raise money for cancer research.

Joining the Rotary volunteers was Hornsby State Liberal MP Matt Kean who donned his own Cancer Council apron at Hornsby Station.

"Fundraising days like Daffodil Day are vitally important to remind the community of our goal to find a cure for cancer," Mr Kean said.

"Most people in our community would know someone who is or has been affected by cancer.

"I want to congratulate the Rotary Club of Hornsby for their continued hard work in our community and taking a leading role to find a cure."
