State Member for Hornsby, Matt Kean MP, today celebrated International Nurses Day, by hosting a morning tea at Hornsby/Ku-ring-gai Hospital.
Speaking at the morning tea, Mr Kean recognised and acknowledged the invaluable work performed by the hospitals more than 500 nurses each day.
'Each day nurses dedicate their time and energy to ensure patients receive adequate treatment and a high quality of care', Mr Kean said.
'The local community benefits substantially from the efforts and commitment of Hornsby/Ku-ring-gai Hospital's nurses and countless lives have improved as a result of their contributions'
