As the Chair of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Office of the Valuer General, I have been undertaking a review into the way our Land is valued here in NSW.
This could have a significant impact on the way our council rates are calculated.
Even here in hornsby, our Quarry was grossly over-valued, resulting in higher council rates for my community.
We have series questions that need to be asked of the Valuer general in NSW and my Committee will ask those questions.
