Biography

After being elected as Member for Hornsby in March 2011, I have embarked on many initiatives that the community and I see as pivotal issues for Hornsby. Issues such as the rebuilding of Hornsby Hospital, the North-West Rail link and other local issues affecting our Community are projects that are a priority for me as your local member, and for the O'Farrell Government.

Having grown up in the Hornsby Shire, I am passionate about our local community and want to see us reach our full potential. I strongly believe in supporting and strengthening our community, empowering our young people and caring for those in need.

Through my involvement with Berowra Cricket Club, and my local church, I see and understand the needs of the community and am proud to play my part. Studying at St. Ignatius College Riverview and later at the University Technology of Sydney, I believe in the strong role education has in our community. As a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, I have worked with large and small businesses and understand their concerns about the NSW economy. With rising electricity and water bills, I know how much harder it is for families to make ends meet.

I want to make sure ours is a strong and safe community and if a loved one is sick, I want to know that they will receive the best possible care. That's why I'm campaigning to rebuild Hornsby Hospital and for more resources for our local police, better public transport through the building of the North-West Rail Link, better solutions to our local traffic congestion and giving planning powers back to the community.

As your local member in a Mike Baird Liberal government, I know that I can do so much more. Together we can start to make a real difference in providing the services which our community deserves.
